Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Walking in the Spirit is a collection of nine heartfelt short stories, each one themed with one of the nine fruits of the Spirit.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Galations 5:22-23

Love Connection - Andy's struggling morning radio program inspires three strangers to show love to their neighbours. As they reach out to the people around them, they find connection with the community and each other.

Choosing Joy - Because of some bad decisions Bill Wilkes has made, his family is left spiritually, emotionally, and financially bankrupt. Now they are starting over in a new town. With the help of their Mrs. Claus look-alike neighbour, Amelia Harris, they discover that strength is found in the joy of the Lord - strength to forgive and start over.

Making Peace - A mentorship program at church connects Harold and Jonah - an unlikely duo. Can Harold, a gruff senior, and Jonah, a teenager with a difficult home, work together to bring peace to Jonah's life?

Patience for Patience - Patience decides to attend church with her friend Sarah in hopes of meeting a certain boy. Was it a coincidence that the pastor was preaching a sermon on patience, one of the fruits of the Spirit? Unknown to Patience, her friends have been tirelessly praying for her salvation.

Kindness - The accident happened on the coldest day of the year. Tom and Georgia's grandfather breaks his leg on a walk to the mailbox. As he convalesces over the next few months, his family and neighbours show him much kindness. When he heals, he demonstrates kindness back to them.

Be Good - Beth Martin has her hands full trying to balance life as a wife, mother of two, and caregiver to her invalid father. When her son, Davey, visits a friend and is accused of being a bad influence, both families must come to terms with what it really means to be good.

The Faithful Ivor Kane - When Alease is asked to write an article about Ivor Kane, it leads her back to her hometown - her family, her church, and friends she had left behind. As she learns about the faithfulness of this man who had attended her home church, she begins to question her own life and relationship with God.

A Gentle Man - Ever since his wife died, retired teacher Tom has struggled with loneliness, grief, and an unresolved fight with his son. After a convicting sermon, he endeavors to soften his heart by befriending a local waitress and her teenage son.

Temperance - Twin sisters, Amy and Alice, have chosen totally different lifestyles and priorities and have grown apart. The two are reunited when Alice is injured in an accident, and she recuperates in her sister's home. Despite a rocky start, Alice comes to see value in the life Amy has chosen and learns the real meaning of temperance.
