Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Rocky the octopus hatches from his egg and searches for a friend to play with. As he journeys through the ocean, he discovers his special talents and meets all kinds of sea creatures, but he still can't find a friend. Just when he starts to feel lonely, Rocky learns an important lesson about friendship! Each story in the Picture It series gives children an opportunity to illustrate a book. This series helps children make connections between the printed word and the pictures in their minds.Clues in the text will give children ideas about what to draw and color, but children should be guided by their imaginations, deciding for themselves how the characters, setting, and other elements should look. Each Picture It book will be a unique masterpiece!Colored pencils and crayons work best for the drawings and will not bleed through the pages. Picture It books make great gifts--before they're illustrated as well as after!
