Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Come Climb With Me: Trees Are My Buds is a heartfelt and uplifting middle grade story about friendship, discovery, and the quiet strength found in curiosity.Twelve year old Timothy Allen has always felt at home among the trees in Baker Park. He calls them his buds, his companions in thought and imagination. One ordinary Saturday morning becomes extraordinary when Tim finds an old sardine can hidden high in the branches. Inside is a worn note and a Spanish coin left by a young man named Johnny Butler, drafted into the Army in 1968.With the help of his friends, who call themselves the Treetop Gang, Tim begins a search to learn who Johnny was and what his message meant. Their small town adventure soon draws the attention of families, neighbors, and the local newspaper, turning one boy's curiosity into a community story of hope and remembrance.Through laughter, faith, and discovery, Tim learns that every story matters and that the simplest treasures often lead to the most meaningful truths. Filled with warmth, heart, and gentle humor, Come Climb With Me reminds readers of all ages that courage and kindness can take root anywhere, even in the branches of an old oak tree.
