Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

There is a phone call that changes everything. It comes in the middle of the night. And when you answer it, life as you knew it is gone. Tom Smith has received three of those calls. It is a powerful and deeply personal memoir; Tom shares three true stories of devasting loss and the faith that carried him through each one. The story of George, his alcoholic father, who found grace before the end. The story of Danielle, his beloved daughter, who's bright future was stolen by a terrible accident, And the story of Blake, his young nephew, whose life ended in violence just as hope was finally within reach. Three people. Three losses. Three calls that came at three in the morning and demanded everything Tom had left. This is not a book that pretends faith makes the pain disappear. It is a book that tells the truth about what it costs to love someone and lose them, and what remains when the worst has already happened. If you have received your own three o'clock call, this book was written for you.
