Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

A simple, easily-understood compilation of stories and vignettes of memorable events, colorful people, bizarre happenings with resulting consequences, compelling thoughts, and gut-wrenching tragedies. Heavens to Betsy! Stories of Humor, Heartache and Hope encapsulates a Southern woman's desire to share her unique life experiences before it's too late. Readers will delight in Betsy's stories, which often give inspiration based on what the author has gleaned in her life to share. Guided by her profound faith that has brought her through difficulties, Betsy gives hope to her readers who may be going through trying times. Be prepared to laugh out loud in reckless abandon, or cry real tears-sometimes both within the same story. Betsy's raw narrative shows her vulnerabilities in her storytelling, further highlighting the well-defined ideas of what makes up her genuine strengths. The author has self-described the book as "Not a page turning novel hard to put down. Rather, it is meant to be read one story at a time, put down, and thought upon in hopes you find something of value to take away." It's great for coffee table reading, a bedside table book, or your formal sitting room. Betsy invites readers to come on in......kick off your shoes, prop up your feet, relax, and read. Then taste and digest each story, slowly. You may even feel the urge to throw your hands up in the air and exclaim, "Heavens to Betsy!" after reading some of the stories she recounts.
