Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Author Ellen Harrison releases her first poetry collection that soothes the soul, encourages empowerment, and reveals the inner strength of every reader. She began reading poetry as a source of comfort and found strength and liberation in the inspirational words of Maya Angelou. When Ellen lost her father, she turned to poetry as a way to cope and process her emotions. What she didn't realize was the transformative power that words would have on her heart and soul-and now she's sharing that gift with readers everywhere. In High Notes of Poetry, Ellen strives to create a space where every reader will find a source of strength to help them through difficult situations. Instead of finding strength in the poems themselves, however, Ellen encourages readers to unearth the courage readers need to find their true strength. In High Notes, you can expect to read two different types of poems that use "high" and "notes" to symbolize deep meanings: first lyric and second lyric. "1stlyric" High represents grace while the "2nd lyric" Notes signifies transcendence. Embodying confidence, love, strength, perseverance, and self-acceptance, Harrison's heart-felt poems encourage readers to reach for the "High Notes" in life.Together, High Notes of Poetry combines "high" and "notes" to represent lyrics with heart-felt emotions and values. Poetry readers of all ages, backgrounds, genders, and beliefs will find value in themselves after reading High Notes of Poetry. The stanzas, which authentically embody each aspect of the author's inner machinations, promise to take readers on a journey of self-reflecting, self-discovery, and self-love.
