Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The adventures of "THE GREEN-EYED MONSTER IN A MALTESE SUIT" continues as Carter learns a valuable lesson in his pursuit of the perfect life. More of everything will not make you happier. This chapter book and its illustrations provides an entertaining way to introduce young people (and adults) to the gift of gratitude. The neighborhood Maltese puppies are at it again. Jack worries about a coyote intruder that is canvassing the yard at night. Carter is dreaming about a heaping bowl of food. Carter approaches Jack and their friends with a selfish list of demands of their humans. The "hood" rejects Carter's list, and it takes coaching from his brother and a tussle with a coyote to scare him straight. The day arrives when Carter finds out why he was put on this earth -- to make the world a better place for his family and friends. He learns that it takes positivity, awareness, and a life of gratitude to achieve real happiness. See how Carter practices gratitude and adjusts to his new way of living.
