Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Mom, Dad, and Chester are the best of friends. But when Chester discovers a new addition is joining, he worries there won't be enough love to go around!Chester the Dog is a happy-go-lucky good boy. Along with his Mom and Dad, Chester loves adventuring during the day and relaxing at night! One day, Mom and Dad announce their "three" will be "four" with the arrival of a new baby. Despite their excitement, Chester is a little worried. How much will things change-and will they love him the same? When the baby arrives home, will Chester be okay? Will he, Mom, and Dad still go on adventures? Or will everything be too different to bear?Chester Gets a Baby is a playful rhyming narrative about a family's new addition from the perspective of an only dog. Chester's voice jumps off of the page and into the minds of readers-and coupled with vibrant illustrations, his wet nose and furry face will burrow into readers' hearts long after they finish his story. The storybook does an excellent job of explaining how changes to things you love can be scary at first, but (especially in families) there is always room to grow and enough love to go around.Chester Gets a Baby is a great book for toddlers between the ages of 2 and 7; it also makes a funny and sweet gift for dog parents expecting their first child!
