Counseling Research and Program Evaluation: A Multidimensional Approach to Culture and Epistemologies equips counselor educators with a fresh perspective on research methodologies by integrating a multicultural lens. Through culturally diverse case studies and evidence-based examples, the book enhances reader understanding of research design while addressing ethical considerations in research, literature review, and a range of methodological approaches—including quantitative, qualitative, and action research. It also explores emerging directions in culturally responsive research practices and their implications for the future of the counseling profession. More than just a guide to conducting research, this textbook teaches readers how to critically read and evaluate research through a discerning, culturally aware lens. Each chapter includes practical examples and guiding questions that help readers identify appropriate applications of research design in real-world counseling contexts. The text is designed to support doctoral and master’s degree courses for programs of various counseling disciplines.
