Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Lee faces crushing opposition from the forces of evil, hell-bent on the destruction of Parlantis, as he fights to fulfill his promise to rescue Shannon, the love of his life. Will love be victorious, or will the forces of darkness succeed in their diabolical plans? "The Promise" continues the epic story of the Foundation Chronicles as Hell itself tries to destroy the faithful in both the physical and spiritual realms, and the spiritual war between good and evil rages in the temporal affairs of men. Heroic adventures, untold marvels, and fantastical creatures await as the angels of God and demons of Hell battle for the eternal souls of men. Heroes of faith will emerge, leaving readers edified and strengthened in their beliefs. Book two of the Foundation Chronicles includes "Tophet," the precursor of the Chronicles of Trinian Trilogy and the bridge to the Foundation Chronicles; story-inspired poems; and devotionals. Terrence L. Rotering attended the United States Air Force Academy from 1981 to 1985. He retired from the United States Air Force in 2005, after twenty years of service, flying F-111F and F-15E fighter aircraft around the world. He served for fifteen more years at the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). Author of "The Faithful," "Stand," "Forever," and "The Chronicles of Trinian," Terrence adds "The Promise" to bridge and expand the Chronicles of Trinian Trilogy to the Foundation Chronicles. Readers describe the story as masterfully woven together using a C. S. Lewis, J. R. R. Tolkien, and Frank Peretti style. Terrence Rotering, his wife Theresa, and their two Colorado Mountain Dogs, Scout and Ranger, live on a ranch in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. They enjoy hiking, photography, drawing, playing guitar, and writing. They serve their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at their local church and in their community.
