Spies and Mummies and Maguffins! Oh My!It's September 1942 and Retired Secret Agent Clark Abernathy thought he was going on a simple Artifact gathering Expedition for the Richardson Museum of Arts and Sciences. The German Blitz has forced the British Museum to hide their Priceless Collections in out of the way places. Egyptian Artifacts meant to be borrowed for the Richardson Museum's upcoming Exhibition are Safely Ensconced in a Welsh Castle, far from Raining Death and Destruction.Clark is to Escort these Artifacts to New Jersey on behalf of Clark's Fiancée, and Curator of Collections, Dr. Myra Williams. M16 has other Plans, however, calling the Former World War I Operative out of Retirement and sending the Bewildered Spy on a Seemingly Nonsensical Secret Mission to Cairo, Egypt, which leads him down a Perilous Path of Espionage and Deception, and into the Clutches of an Old Arch Enemy! No, not into the Clutches of his former Fiancée, Viola Corbet, although she and her Fraternal Twin Teens Bill and Mary are on hand to cover the opening of the Egyptian Exhibit, but into the Hands of a Far more Dangerous Femme Fatale! A Woman from Clark's past that has a Fetish for Elaborate Schemes... and Death Traps! so, be sure to Belt up your Trench Coat and have your Captain Midnight Decode-O-Graph Pin Handy and Brace yourself for one hell of a...
