Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Mike Tirico grew up loving sports. But he didn't perform as well on the playing fields as he did in the classroom. In high school, Mike set his sights on entering Syracuse University to become a professional sports broadcaster. After a decades-long career, Mike is still going strong as the prime-time host of NBC's Olympics coverage and the cohost of Sunday Night Football. Part of the Award-Winning Sports Broadcasters series, Mike Tirico tells the story of how a young boy from Queens grew up to become a fixture on television each week for sports fans across the United States.
