In the era of globalization, Indian industries are facing pressure to green their supply chain at international and domestic levels. It is because of the reason that environmental concerns have gained more attention recently among Indian organizations, and still, it needs to recognize an adequately significant number of factors related to environmental and sustainable issues from industrial viewpoints. Green Supply Chain Management is an emerging aspect abiding which has brought a drastic change worldwide.Sustainability Management is a blend of supply chain management practices and environmental considerations. By adopting the GSCM Indian manufacturing companies can lead to resolvent of societal issues and scarcity of natural resources.Aim: Theories of GSCM adoption and its implementation are majorly taking place in developed countries. However, studies related to GSCM are less often in India. Furthermore, a limited study has been carried out in Gujarat for the implementation of GSCM. The lack of prior research in manufacturing companies in Gujarat has motivated the researcher to undertake a detailed investigation of prevailing GSCM practices in ManufacturingCompanies in Gujarat and to identify the impact of these practices on organizational performance.
