Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The current version needs changing slightly at the beginning because it makes it sound as though Ashleigh finds the necklace during this story. She actually found it weeks before, and this is the first Night Riders adventure.Could you replace the current description with:Nine-year-old Ashleigh already knows her mysterious star necklace can do something extraordinary. But she has never needed its magic quite like this before.Five days before Christmas, Ashleigh realises she has left her beloved teddy bear, Molly, behind at school. Refusing to leave her there overnight, she calls on Nelson, her loyal dog, and the donkeys at Ashworth Farm for help. With the necklace allowing Ashleigh to talk to animals - and giving the donkeys an extraordinary secret of their own - what begins as a simple midnight rescue soon turns into something much bigger. Two burglars have chosen the same night to break into the school. Now Ashleigh, Nelson and the Night Riders must find Molly, avoid being discovered and somehow get home before anyone realises they are missing.Full of humour, friendship, bravery and magical mischief, The Night Riders: A Magical Rescue is an illustrated chapter-book adventure for children aged 7-10, perfect for independent readers, bedtime reading and children who love animals, magic and fast-moving adventures.
