Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Class has been in session for over 1300 years. When Shantideva first served these verses at Nalanda University in 8th Century India, he didn't just teach - he levitated, gagged and entire institution, and left behind a masterclass in spiritual awakening that has been slaying ever since. The Way of the Bodhisattva isn't just ancient tea - it's the ultimate guide to transforming yourself through compassion and wisdom. Now, this timeless Buddhist classic struts onto the modern stage in contemporary queer vernacular. Neither a commentary nor a paraphrase, this verse-by-verse translation maintains the profound wisdom of the original Sanskrit while expressing the teachings in the vibrant language of our culture. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or new to Buddhist thought, this fresh translation makes Shantideva's wisdom accessible without losing any of its transcendent fierceness.
