Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

A suspicious death. A slippery business partner. And a determined woman of a certain age with a borrowed Jack Russell, a sidekick in a nun's habit, and absolutely no patience for incompetence. When Marco Giancola, co-owner of a luxury auto repair chain, is found dead in his garage, the police call it misadventure. But Mary-Margaret O'Shea-retired church secretary, full-time meddler, and part-time sleuth-isn't convinced. She suspects murder. And she's not above impersonating staff, breaking into crime scenes, or faking a hospital admission to prove it.With help from Arthur (who moonlights as Sister Augustine), Sue "The Old Bird" Bird (who may or may not have backed The Kinks), and a cast of parishioners who know more than they let on, Mary-Margaret uncovers a tangled web of fraudulent repairs, shady real estate deals, and a widow who's either grieving-or scheming. In this third installment of the A Pint of Troubleseries, Mary-Margaret proves onceagain that justice isn't just for the badge-wearing professionals-and that sometimes, the best detective work happens over a cuppa, a biscuit, and a well-timed taser.
