Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Human Nature, Systems, and Christianity explores the deep interplay between human consciousness, moral formation, and the social structures we create. Huizhen Sheng argues that the architecture of our societies-democracy, socialism, and beyond-reflects the inner tension between self-serving ego and the guiding voice of conscience.Tracing the arc of human thought from the primal awakening of self-awareness to the emergence of a shared, cosmic consciousness, Sheng examines historical and contemporary systems through a moral lens. Democracy succeeds by channeling self-interest within ethical boundaries; socialism, by ignoring the inherent energy of survival, falters. Modern technologies like artificial intelligence further challenge our capacity for moral governance, as they may amplify the consequences of an unrestrained ego.Ultimately, Sheng presents a vision for societal renewal grounded in Christian moral formation. By cultivating conscience, integrating ego, and embracing the example of Christ as a bridge between human and divine consciousness, humanity can aspire to a civilization aligned with justice, love, and universal order-a practical path to salvation in the modern age.
