Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

This is a book of fiction. Historical references are accurate, as well as a quote from Mischief in Fez, a published book by Eleanor Hoffmann. This is not a book about religion. It is a story about a religious object - a Book of Hours, - the craft of its making, and its importance in the Medieval world, which is juxtaposed with events in the plot, beginning in the modern world.A 13th century Book of Hours, valued for its scenes of medieval life, is stolen from a 20th century museum. Theft, murder, and ambition follow the book through the ages.
