Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Environments That Shape Us-and the Ones We CreateBefore you had your first memory, your surroundings were already shaping you. Before you understood the world, you were learning how to live in it.We spend our lives walking through doors into environments created by other people-family, friendship, school, work, marriage, faith, leadership, community. Inside them, we learn what to expect. What to believe. How to belong. What is safe. What is possible. And often, we carry those lessons with us into a thousand future doors.Behind the Door introduces Operating Environments-a visual language for understanding the stories and environments that shape us, and navigating more intentionally what comes next. The environment matters. But so does the story we carry from it.Most people aren't struggling because they lack information. They're struggling because they don't yet understand the stories that have shaped them. You did not choose every environment that shaped you.But there comes a moment when the question changes.Because you don't only walk through doors. You help create what other people experience behind them.So perhaps the most important question isn't only:What has been behind the doors that shaped me?It's also:What do people experience when they walk through a door I help create?Because People Matter.operatingenvironments.com
