Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

If Jesus Showed Both His Spirituality and Humanity During Grief, Then Why Don't You Do the Same?People say the darndest things during times of grief, especially Christians. We live in a time in which the Church has given us biblical truths on living a life that is pleasing to God and the beauty of eventually going to Heaven. However, they have failed to teach people how to genuinely cope with both human and spiritual hope during times of loss. Sadly, Christians have been haphazardly instructed that when someone dies or experiences a great loss, people should deal with grief through their spiritual faith while forsaking their human feelings. But, if Jesus balanced His faith and feelings while He was grieving, then why don't Christians do the same?Author Tanya White combines her almost twenty-five years in both ministerial instruction and school grief counseling to help readers find balance during their bereavement. The book portion sheds new light on Jesus' grief during His agony in the Garden of Gethsemane. Finally, the devotional section gives people permission to feel every emotion they have during times of loss without shame, apology, or compromise. After reading this book, you will be able to declare with spiritual as well as human confidence that "Yes, the prayers of both the righteous and grieving availeth much!"
