Taken together, the pieces celebrate a famed city marked by ancient tragedy but brimming with vitality.

The book was created with support from Salem State University, the Mass Cultural Council, Salem Cultural Council, Essex County Community Foundation, the Peabody Essex Museum, the Salem Athenæum, and the Salem Lit Fest.
