Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

When you hear that someone's been in the music business more than thirty years, you might think they'd be a household name. Most music memoirs and autobiographies are about the artist paying their dues and then reaching the big time. In Rock N Roll Will Only Break Your Heart, there is no "big time" for the author. Instead, it's about getting from point A to point B while still trying to find point C. And you know what? The ride is just as colorful without the platinum records.Kenward Cooper tells his story in a heartfelt way, while also finding humor in his struggles and misfortunes, tracing the time when he was at the cusp of the Las Vegas music scene, just before the success of the Killers, Panic! at the Disco, and Imagine Dragons, and the grief of his marriage ending after a romantic rivalry involving a member of one of the aforementioned bands. From journalism to songwriting, performing, and screenwriting, Kenward takes on many endeavors-all with the same goal of trying to make his mark. He travels from coast to coast and internationally in a never-ending pursuit of dreams.Rock n roll will only break your heart. But it will put a smile on your face while it does it.
