Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Wyatt is a corgi puppy who just loves to have fun! Throughout his many great adventures though, Wyatt also learns that not all situations he faces are enjoyable or easy to deal with. Don't Hide Your Head Under the Bed is a story about all those scary times Wyatt encounters where his first instinct is to just run and hide. Young readers are encouraged to join Wyatt as he learns some very valuable life lessons which ultimately make him a more confident pet and a better friend. Ultimately, Wyatt's journey helps teach our young children the importance of overcoming fears and being brave enough to "bark-up" whenever seeing evil or wrongdoing in the world. Wyatt's story further encourages all people and pets to treat one another with kindness and respect. Don't Hide Your Head Under the Bed is also children's poem proving to be a fun read for younger minds who are just beginning to discover the great joys created by rhyming words and phrases. The book's illustrations make it exciting for those who can't yet read to follow Wyatt's adventures as well. And as those little ones grow and begin to comprehend the words and morals, the book becomes a valuable blueprint for taking charge of their lives. It seeks to embolden sharing, caring, speaking up, taking chances and having some fun while always striving to do the right thing. Don't Hide Your Head Under the Bed is intended to be shared together as a family, endeavoring to instill in the hearts and minds of young children those wonderful, intangible character traits we all pray they one day grow up to embody, and then hopefully pass on to others as well.
