Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

It's fall in northern New Hampshire, and eight-year-old Debber is more curious than ever about the animals that live in the woods surrounding her family's hunting camp. She learns many things from her Daddy about the wildlife around them, especially black bears. Daddy teaches Debber all about bears, including hibernation. Debber's excitement grows when Daddy says they are going to the "treehouse" hunting tower to watch for bears. With her own eyes, Debber gets to witness the many interesting behaviors of bears. See what happens when a bear family strolls into view. This day in the woods leaves an indelible mark on Debber, and her dreams are filled with fantastical notions about the inner lives of bears in their dens.
