Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Humor, wit, and the absurd are the driving forces behind these high-tech, crime fighting, potty adventures! From award-winning cartoonist and children's writer, Darryl Kluskowski, comes the first book in a brilliantly written series of illustrated chapter books for young readers. The F.L.U.S.H. Files is a laugh-out-loud and clever collection about the comic misadventures of two kids-best friends Bladder Lad and his sidekick Plunger Pete-who work for F.L.U.S.H., a top-secret agency sworn to protect the world from the evil legions of D.R.A.I.N.! In book one, The F.L.U.S.H. Files: Pass the Gas!, Bladder Lad and Plunger Pete receive a call to action that is not quite like the Bat-Signal...theirs is a flush of the toilet. After a quick trip to a secret elevator hidden in a bathroom, they flush themselves down into a world of international intrigue. The kid heroes are given their assignment by their mysterious leader, Agent #2. Their mission? To protect Standard City from D.R.A.I.N. (an organization determined to make the planet gross and icky) and its top supervillains, Pressure and Bloating. The evil that's afoot? An attack by enormous flatulent balloons disguised as unknowing squirrels and porcupines releasing perilous, noxious green fumes on citizens. Can the F.L.U.S.H. duo save Standard City before it goes down the drain? Reminiscent of the clever and uproarious writing and engaging graphic art of The Adventures of Captain Underpants, Dogman, and "Phineas and Ferb," The F.L.U.S.H. Files is an inventive and unique series with high-tech crime fighting, bowel-wrenching missions, and skillful gut-busting potty humor. The F.L.U.S.H. Files: Pass the Gas! has an enduring appeal that families and educators of young children will welcome to foster an early love of reading.
