He was Rob's sole roommate for a year before they were joined by Halley (human), Luna (dog, corgi) and eventually Parker (smaller human who Elvis liked best). On December 13, 2019, Elvis went for a run around the neighborhood with Luna (and only Luna)where he was hit by a car. His paw was squished by said car and he hobbled away. (Luna was fine) Search parties were assembled but nobody could find him. Ten days later, on an unseasonably warm December day, a fisherman discovered Elvis hiding underneath the bridge. His leg had to be amputated, but he lived as a Tri-Pawed for another four and half years.
