Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

"If not simply for the beauty of the writing, this book is an aid in your own journey of faith. Savor this book for its descriptions, details, and depth, and revel in the integrity revealed."-Rebecca Chopp, University of Denver Chancellor Emerita, Theologian, and AuthorWhen Ralph Patrick first visited the isle of Iona in Scotland, he never could have imagined the central place this sacred space would come to hold in his life. As he faced the loss of his mother, his marriage, and his ministry, it was Iona that would offer a beacon of hope, beckoning him to return. In time he would heed that call; to find the love of God and renewed meaning for life. Patrick's journey through the dark valley of losing most everything he cherished, including his faith, compelled him to follow a path to discover what matters most in life. In the spirit of authenticity and vulnerability, he shares a message that shines the light of hope for those who are also seeking direction and meaning. More than a memoir, this story is an invitation for the reader to embark on their own spiritual pilgrimage, wherever it might lead. A portion of the proceeds from book sales will provide support for the Iona community.
