Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

It has been thirty-three years since the accident that took Paloma Flores, but the wound of her absence is as fresh as the day it happened. All along, Damián has carried the guilt of his mother's death around like a battle scar, and when his manipulative and alcoholic father Ignacio Vásquez winds up in the hospital after a stabbing, Damián is pulled back to the city that took everything from him. A VHS tape he had considered long lost reappears while he is cleaning out his father's house and he cannot resist the allure of diving back into old memories, literally... Damián wakes up in his eight-year-old body, where he is given the chance to relive some of his happiest moments and see his mother again. Torn between amazement and disbelief, he must navigate the past, re-examining the events that led up to his mother's death in an attempt to change the outcome. In his race against time, Damián comes face to face with the secrets and lies that shaped his life. As the day of his mother's accident approaches, Damián is forced to ask himself: If he fails to save her, can he let go of the past before it ruins his future?
