Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

While the Bible story of The Prodigal Son is a parable to depict those who have strayed away from God, many parents have prodigal sons and daughters. A wayward child who leaves home-and often leaves God-to do life on his or her own terms and conditions soon finds out the hard way that the grass isn't greener on the other side. But when that child's parent petitions the throne of God through prayer, fasting and heartfelt submission, no matter where they are, every prodigal will have a wake-up call. In this candid literary masterpiece, Returned: A Parent's Journey in Prayer for the Prodigal, author Corliss J. Myers gives readers a glimpse of one mother's humanity, mistakes, pain and fear of the future. On a mission to give voice to those suffering in silence and mobilization to those who have lost all hope, Myers empowers readers to seek God for help, restoration and the rescue of their prodigal son or daughter. In partnership with Holy Spirit, this book serves as a transformational guide to becoming a vessel in the healing and deliverance process of the prodigal. In this book, you will learn:How to trust God in the process despite opposition and rebellionHow to successfully weather the storm through prayer and praiseHow to stand on God's Word for total transformationHow to partner with Holy Spirit in the process of pain to promise
