Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Long held secrets of a retired FBI agent are compromised by Alzheimer's. Will past adversaries silence him before it's too late? The world has become a very confusing place for David DeRieux. For over five decades, the retired Special Agent and his partner Bert Ashton kept their families safe by keeping the startling secrets of their Cold War, counter-espionage days quiet. But time has passed, Bert has died, and Alzheimer's is now blurring David's memories of the past with the realities of the present. In moments of stress, David has become prone to saying unusual things; things that cause those around him to be concerned and to wonder at the cause of his visible distress and confounding statements.Such unguarded talk is dangerous for a man who holds many secrets in a world in which powerful men-or at least one powerful man-still need those secrets to be kept.
