Raised under the tutelage of the Prophet, Samuel, Jonathan knows the promises and might of Israel's God. For Jonathan, there is no alternative. The First King, book 1 of The Anointed series, is an engaging and immersive narrative on the life, wars, bonds, and struggles of King Saul and his heir to the throne.
