Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The story, Don't Blame It on the Aliens: A Squirrelly Bedtime Story, depicts a 6-year-old boy named Timmy who enjoys playing with his toys, in his yard, -and sometimes with the neighborhood squirrels. But then accidents start piling up around the house - first a broken vase, then a toppled lamp, and a very suspicious trail of overturned trash cans. Timmy insists he knows exactly who is responsible.Friendly aliens.Timmy's Mom isn't convinced. After all, everyone has to learn to tell the truth and take responsibility... right? But as the mishaps grow stranger and stranger, and the lectures grow more frequent, Timmy may not be the only one who has something to learn about trust and what's real. Eventually, Mom comes face to face with the unbelievable: Aliens, in fact just as Timmy has been saying- Friendly Aliens. But just when the story seems to reach the unbelievable climax, there's a twist: the ending frames show that the whole story is actually a bedtime story being read to the neighborhood squirrels by Grandpa Squirrel. Filled with humor, imagination, and a gentle lesson about honesty, Don't Blame It on the Aliens: A Squirrelly Bedtime Story is a cozy bedtime tale that reminds children that mistakes happen, telling the truth is right even when it's difficult to believe - and sometimes the truth can be even more surprising than any excuse.
