Vicki Todd declares at the age of 6 that she wants to be an artist. But then she gets stuck in another life. It isn't until the precipice of her 50th birthday that she takes the blind leap to find her artistic purpose. And discovers that her very own mother wants to sabotage her! Shine Happy Shine: A Mystical Memoir of Art, Destiny and a Tenacious Mother-Daughter Bond is a hybrid memoir about Todd's quest to become a later-life artist. It contains 32 of her lush portraits and body print paintings.Drawing on the strength of ancestor guides, Todd weaves real-life events with ancestor fairytales and creative autofiction to deal with complex human topics such as alcoholism, Alzheimer's, narcissism, and delusional dementia. For women who are lost, unfulfilled or stressed out, and who crave more meaning and freedom in life, Shine Happy Shine explores the joy of... - - living your life's purpose - breaking societal norms - setting personal boundaries - standing up for your personal values- forgiving those who hurt you - finding your own self-worth - and changing direction midlife and later! You, too, can follow your dream at any age and live a life with no regrets!
